Fitchburg  local access television station is playing tapes provided by Fitchburg Jamaat every week. Each week different tapes are being provided to play which consist of sermons of Huzur (atba) in English language translation and Q&A session with Khalifatul Masih 4th (ra).



Fitchburg Jamaat members participated in 4th of July parade held by city.  Members walked mile and half down route of the parade holding huge banner which read “Love for all hatred for none” waving and greeting thousands of people. All the participants of paraded were met and greeted by Fitchburg city Mayor (Lisa Wong) at city hall at the end of parade.

Fitchburg Jamaat members are actively participating in distributing fliers as per instruction of our beloved Huzur (atba).Flyers were distributed in front of Mosque on Main Street and also small town of Ashby was visited and flyers were distributed to several homes.Flyers are also being distributed door to door in different neighborhoods in city and Alhamdolillah response has been great.



Fitchburg Jamaat co-sponsored a blood drive teaming up with Red Cross of central Massachusetts. Jamaat members distributed fliers of blood drive and provided logistic and manual support for the event. By the grace of Allah event was successful and 35 bags of blood were collected.

 

 

 

On Eid-ul-Fitr Fitchburg city Mayor (Lisa Wong) sent her representative to join us for Eid-ul-Fitr prayer and later she also paid visit to Mosque (Masjid Bait-ul-Zikr) and met members and held discussion with President Bashirudin Mehmud sahib.

 

 

Jamaat members collected school supplies and donated to Crocker Elementary School of Fitchburg. More than 150 notebooks and various other supplies such as pencils, erasers and school bags were donated.

 

 

 

Sentinel & Enterprise newspaper interviewed Fitchburg Sadr Bashiruddin Mehmud sahib and published a large article about Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Fitchburg on front page of newspaper.
