American Muslim group prays for peace

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA categorically condemns Saturday's attacks in Copenhagen and prays for the murdered victims' families and for the recovery of those injured.

Reports indicate that two attacks resulted in two people killed and five people injured.  The first attack occurred at a Copenhagen cafe during a freedom of expression event.  The second attack occurred in the same day at a synagogue.  The Community mourns the loss of innocent life and prays that God may grant strength to the victims’ families and friends.

“Nothing justifies these barbaric and inhumane attacks,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA. “We live in an age of dialogue and reason. People should not be harmed for practicing freedoms of expression or belief.”

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA continues to pray for peace and for those suffering.
