Invites all Americans to join efforts with the President
As the nation’s oldest Muslim organization, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA applauds President Obama’s call to root out extremist ideology by partnering with American Muslims.
Since 1920, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been at the forefront of combatting radicalization and terrorism in America. We actively rebuke extremist ideology by condemning violent Jihad in favor of an intellectual Jihad of the pen. We educate our youth on true Islam’s pluralistic teachings and train them to serve all humanity with blood drives, food drives, and interfaith dialogues.
“Prophet Muhammad taught loyalty to your country of residence is part of your faith. The true Khalifa of Islam, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has continued to champion this wisdom today,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, Senior Vice President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, “and therefore as American Muslims, we find no conflict between our identities as Muslims and our identities as Americans.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community responds to the President’s call by elevating our century long efforts to combat extremism in America. We demonstrate with action and a sustainable model that no conflict exists between American and Islamic values. Accordingly, the Community calls for dialogue with all Americans to understand true Islam as practiced by Prophet Muhammad. We
invite all Americans to join us in overcoming extremism by attending our town hall meetings, our open house mosque sessions across our 70 chapters nationwide, and on social media @MuslimsforPeace.
