Ramadan and Eid in Chicago
Daily Dars, Taraweeh, the Iftar open house and the Eid ul Fitr family dinner.
Ramadan is the busiest and most blessed month of the year at the Chicago Jama’at. Families come together at Masjid Baet-ul-Jaamay in Glen Ellyn and at As-Sadiq Mosque in Chicago for prayer, study of the Holy Quran and shared meals.
During Ramadan
- Daily Dars before Iftar, every day of the month.
- Salat-ul-Taraweeh every night of the blessed month.
- Iftar for guests: an open house where neighbors, friends and guests of every faith are invited to break the fast with us.
Eid ul Fitr
After the Eid prayer, the celebrations continue. In 2026 Majlis Ansarullah Chicago invited all members and their families to an Eid ul Fitr Family Dinner at Masjid Baet-ul-Jaamay, together with Lajna Ima’illah and Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya.

Dates and times for next Ramadan will be shared in the chapter events and the Jama’at calendar.
